Library
Where Readers Become Thinkers
If our classrooms are where answers are discovered, our library is where the most dangerous, beautiful, and disruptive questions are born. Paths are discovered and visions developed when old-world wisdom meets next-generation thought.
At Mount View, our library is designed to cultivate a lifelong love for reading from an early age. With a thoughtfully curated collection of storybooks, picture books, encyclopaedias, reference materials, biographies, fiction, non-fiction, magazines, and subject-specific resources, students are encouraged to explore beyond their textbooks and discover the joy of self-directed learning.
To serve every unique learning style, our library is intentionally divided into distinct intellectual micro-climates. We have a quiet, low-stimulus zone designed for the researchers, the introverts, and the deep-divers who need uninterrupted solitude to map out their next big idea.
Then, we have a fluid space with movable furniture where students gather to debate literature, cross-reference data, peer-review essays, and let their ideas collide.
Reading sessions, storytelling, book discussions, and library activities help children build language skills, expand their vocabulary, improve concentration, and develop empathy by experiencing different cultures, ideas, and perspectives through literature.
Every book opens many new windows to the world. Every reader of the same book gets inspired differently, learns different lessons and chase different aspirations. And every visit to the library is an opportunity to inspire curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking.
A World of Books. A Lifetime of Learning.
As students grow, so do their reading journeys. We believe that tomorrow’s innovators, leaders, and changemakers are first inspired by the stories they read and the ideas they encounter. Our library is designed to be a place where imagination meets knowledge, helping students develop the confidence to explore new subjects, challenge conventional thinking, and become independent learners.

In an age where information is everywhere, the ability to think critically is a true advantage. A truly great library doesn’t simply house books—it cultivates thinkers. We do not just teach students how to read; we teach them how to filter the noise of the information age, trace facts to their source, and build an independent worldview.
